It has high resolution sensors on both front and rear cameras which means clearer pictures
The new rear facing camera sensor user a new technology to take better pictures in all lighting conditions

Sim Location
The sim card for both phones can be found on the top of the device
The sim card micro sd card are on one tray

The fingerprint has an improved scanner
You can simply tap on the home key rather than having to swipe


Color Options
S7 - Onyx Black and Platinum Gold
S7 Edge - Onyx Black, Silver Titanium and Platinum Gold. Pearl white maybe be available on the S7 edge as well.

LDI Location
The liquid Damage indicator is used to determine if the device has had liquid damage in sensitive areas
The LDI is located on the inside of the sim and SD card

The Return of removable storage
SD storage has returned
the sim card tray now has room for both sim and micro sd card
Samsung recommends using a SDXC storage card from a reputable company
Both phones support micro sd cards up to 200gb

The phones are certified IP68 (protected against entry of dust, and temporary immersion in water up to 4.5 feet)
IP stands for Ingress Protection
While the 6 means protection against entry of dust and the 8 means protection against temporary immersion in water up to 4 and half feet (1.5 meter)
